Terms & Conditions

In this section, you will find the Terms & Conditions between customers and the Affordable Attire website (affordableattire.co.nz) outlined are specific terms and conditions of Affordable Attires service agreement with customers. These terms apply to online rentals and sales of products. By signing up and purchasing services, you acknowledge that you have read, and understand these Terms & Conditions.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

You will receive a refund (minus $10 cancellation fee) if you cancel 14 days or more after the booking date, if you cancel less than 14 days, you will receive a credit note which can be used for future Affordable Attire products & services. If you cancel less than 2 days before your requested rented date you will not receive a refund. 

 

SUMMER MONTHS (HIGH SEASON)

Due to the demand of our products and our limited availability during high season, unfortunately we will not offering refunds for cancellations. Depending on the circumstance we may offer a credit note at our discretion.

 

NO REFUNDS ON DELIVERY OR RETURNS 

Once an order had been dispatched for delivery, no refunds will be given on the delivery or collection. 

  

RURAL DELIVERY

During certain periods we may not be able to offer this service for certain products due to demand. 

 

DAMAGED ITEMS

In the unlikely circumstance of your product arriving damaged you must contact us and let us know within 24 hours of you receiving your product.

 

LATE FEES

Customers are responsible for ensuring items are scheduled and returned on time. Failure to return on time will result in late fees. We require our garments to be returned the very next working day possible after the day of your event (date in which you booked the garment for) i.e If you booked a dress for a Saturday, your return date will be the following Monday. If you fail to return or post back our garment on the correct return date you will be charged $15 per day that the garment is overdue for return.  If you have not returned your rental within 10 days after the return date, your late return will be considered a non-return, and Affordable Attire will charge your payment card the maximum late fee set (100% of the product retail value when new) less any late fees that you have already paid, plus applicable sales tax.

 

RETURN POLICY

In the instance of the item being lost, stolen or not returned to Affordable Attire we reserve the right to incur charges as specified in the late fees section. In certain circumstances, we will be pursuing legal action in relation to items that are not returned. You are responsible to return the item in the reusable package that it arrives in. Once you return the item you will be provided with a reference number, please ensure you keep this in the unlikely event of the item being lost during the return.

 

USE OF THE PRODUCTS & DAMAGED ITEMS

Affordable Attire is a small New Zealand business, we ask that you treat our products with love, care and respect. Third party leasing or selling is against our Terms & Conditions. We understand that from time to time normal wear will happen. Normal wear and tear consist of small removable stains and slight tears. These will be covered by us and you will not be charged. In the event that a product is returned beyond reasonable wear and tear then you agree that we can charge you for the cost of repairing or replacing the item. The retail price of each garment will be stated in the product description, please take this into consideration when selecting an item to rent as this will be the 'replacement fee' in which you will reliable in paying if the garment is damaged beyond repair at Affordable Attire's discretion.  We have a dedicated expert wet cleaning partner, who is extremely skilled in taking care of our products. We kindly ask customers not to attempt to clean or dry clean any products themselves. Failure to comply with this will result in Affordable Attire charging the customer. Under no circumstance can you attempt to wash or have our products dry cleaned, doing so can result in you being charged.

 

LIMITS

Purchasing of services and products from Affordable is based on our discretion. We reserve the right to place limits on rentals and the number of products purchased by one person.

 

BILLING

When borrowing an item you will be required to provide a valid credit card that you are authorised to use. Signing up to use the Affordable Attire service, you authorise Affordable Attire to charge your card accordingly. These fees may include late fees, excessive damage fees and any other fees that may arise from the service. In the event of fees not being paid Affordable Attire reserve the right to take the necessary steps to recover this cost. This can include collection agencies and in some circumstances legal action.

 

DELAYED DELIVERY

Affordable Attire works with third party delivery partners and will not be held responsible for delayed or late deliveries.

 

SITE TERMS OF USE MODIFICATION

Affordable Attire may revise these terms of use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

 

ELIGIBILITY

Children under 18 years of age but at least 13 years of age may use the Site and App under the supervision of  legal guardian or parent who can agree to be bound by these Terms on their behalf, but such children may not rent or purchase any products via the Services. If you are a parent or legal guardian agreeing to these Terms for the benefit of a child between the ages of 13 and 18, you are fully responsible for his or her use of the Services and the rental or purchase of any Products, including all legal liability he or she may incur.

 

YOUR PRIVACY

You agree to receive promotional messages from Affordable Attire regarding product launches and various marketing campaigns. If you would no longer like to receive such communication you can unsubscribe. We will never disclose any personal information about our customers to third parties.
